Cyrex ("we," "our," or "us") provides a risk-free cryptocurrency paper trading and learning simulator. We are committed to safeguarding your privacy and ensuring transparency regarding our data practices. This Privacy Policy outlines how your data is handled when using the mobile application Cyrex - Crypto Paper Trading (the "App").
Key Summary: Cyrex is strictly a paper trading simulator. You can use the app anonymously as a guest without providing any personal data. If you optionally choose to sign in with Google or compete on global leaderboards, your basic profile info and simulated trading statistics are synced securely using Google Firebase cloud services.
1. Information We Collect and How We Use It
1.1 Guest / Offline Mode
You can use Cyrex completely as an anonymous guest without creating an account or submitting personal data. In Guest Mode, all virtual trading balances, portfolio positions, trade history, and user settings are stored locally on your device using Android secure SharedPreferences.
1.2 Optional Google Sign-In & Cloud Account Linking
To ensure your portfolio progress is not lost when switching or resetting devices, Cyrex provides an optional Google Sign-In feature via Google OAuth 2.0 and Firebase Authentication:
- Authentication Identifiers: We receive standard non-sensitive profile identifiers provided by Google (email address, display name, and a unique Firebase User ID / UID).
- Cloud Sync & Leaderboards: When signed in, your public nickname, selected avatar index, and simulated performance metrics (virtual net worth, season ROI, season profit, total trades, and win rate) are synced to Google Cloud Firestore. This enables persistent cloud backup and allows you to participate in global seasonal tournaments.
1.3 Push Notifications & Device Alerts
If you grant notification permissions, a randomized Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM) registration token is generated to deliver real-time price alerts, daily login streak reminders, and tournament result announcements. FCM tokens do not reveal your personal identity.
2. Third-Party Services and Data Processors
To provide real-time market data, cloud synchronization, and monetization, Cyrex integrates the following trusted third-party SDKs:
- Google Firebase (Google LLC): Used for secure user authentication, Cloud Firestore database synchronization, FCM push notifications, and Google Analytics for Firebase. Learn more: Firebase Privacy Policy.
- Google AdMob (Google LLC): Serves non-personalized or personalized banner, interstitial, and rewarded advertisements. AdMob may collect device identifiers (such as Google Advertising ID), IP addresses, and diagnostic telemetry to prevent fraud and serve ads. - Binance Public Market Data API: Used solely to query real-time public cryptocurrency price tickers and historical candlestick data. No user accounts, credentials, or private data are ever sent to Binance.
3. Paper Trading & Financial Simulation Disclaimer
Cyrex is an educational cryptocurrency trading simulator. All funds, cash balances, margin positions, and profits displayed within the App are 100% virtual and have no real-world monetary value. Cyrex does not accept deposits of real fiat currency or cryptocurrency, does not execute real financial transactions on any blockchain or exchange, and does not link to bank accounts or real cryptocurrency wallets.
4. Data Retention and Account Deletion
- Local Device Data: You can wipe all local application data at any time by clearing storage in your Android Settings or uninstalling the App.
- Cloud Data Deletion (Google Play Compliance): If you have linked a Google account and wish to permanently delete your cloud profile and leaderboard records, you can do so directly within the App via Profile > Settings > Delete Account, or by emailing us at akibhusain830@gmail.com. Upon request, all associated Firebase Firestore records, authentication credentials, and user data will be permanently purged within 30 days.
5. Children's Privacy (COPPA Compliance)
Cyrex does not knowingly collect or solicit personal information from children under the age of 13. If you believe that a child under 13 has provided personal data through Google Sign-In, please contact us immediately so we can promptly delete the information.
6. Security
We prioritize the security of your data. All communication between the App and Firebase servers is encrypted in transit via industry-standard Transport Layer Security (TLS/HTTPS). Cloud database operations are strictly governed by granular Firestore Security Rules ensuring users can only modify their own authorized records.
7. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this policy periodically to reflect feature additions or regulatory requirements. Any revisions will be published on this page with an updated "Last Updated" timestamp.
